Content Moderation Policy

Last updated: 21 March 2026

1. What the AI Will Not Generate

FansChat's AI is built on Anthropic Claude and incorporates additional guardrails. The AI will never generate:

  • Any sexual content involving minors (CSAM) — absolute prohibition.
  • Content that threatens, incites, or glorifies violence against real individuals.
  • Content designed to harass, stalk, or intimidate a specific person.
  • Real personal identifying information (name, address, phone number) about any fan.
  • Content that solicits illegal activity.

These restrictions cannot be overridden by creator configurations or system prompt modifications.

2. How Violations Are Detected

FansChat uses the following mechanisms to detect policy violations:

  • Automated keyword and pattern scanning: Inbound messages and AI outputs are scanned for indicators of minor-related content and other prohibited material.
  • AI safety layer: Anthropic Claude's built-in safety systems block harmful outputs at the model level.
  • Audit logging: All blocked outputs and flagged events are logged with timestamps for review.
  • Human review triggers: High-confidence safety flags automatically escalate to FansChat staff review via our Review Mode system.

3. Creator Responsibilities

As a creator using FansChat, you are responsible for:

  • Ensuring you hold all necessary age verification for your subscribers per applicable platform rules.
  • Reviewing AI-generated messages before they reach your audience using Review Mode where appropriate.
  • Not attempting to bypass or circumvent FansChat's content filters.
  • Promptly reporting any AI output that appears to violate this policy.

4. Reporting Process

To report a policy violation or concerning AI output, contact us at abuse@fanschat.app with:

  • Your account email.
  • A description of the violation.
  • Screenshots or exported evidence where possible.

We will acknowledge all reports within 24 hours and complete our investigation within 7 days.

5. Appeals Process

If your account has been suspended or terminated and you believe the decision was made in error, you may appeal by emailing appeals@fanschat.app within 14 days of the decision. Include your account email and the reason for your appeal. Appeals are reviewed by a senior team member not involved in the original decision.
